Anastasia Griffith is a British film and television actress, who is working prominently in British and American television shows. She was born on 23 March, 1978, in Paris, France. Raised in West London, United Kingdom. Anastasia had completed her degree from the University of Bristol in history of art. She got trained in acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Anastasia began her acting career in 2004, debuting in the movie She's Gone, where she played a small role. The same year, she worked on multiple projects in prominent roles, including television films like Dirty Filthy Love and Disappeared. She also appeared in films like Alfie and The Headsman, a short-film called Turn and a direct-to-video film called Nature Unleashed: Fire.

In 2005, she starred in the British comedy show The Worst Week of My Life, where her character Cordelia made a guest appearance in two episodes, "Monday"; and "Wednesday". In 2007, she made her debut on American television with the crime show Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, where she guest starred in the episode titled "Paternity," where she played the role of Leah Keegan. The same year, she landed her first significant role on American television in the legal thriller Damages, where she played the role of Katie Connors, who appears prominently in seasons one and two.
 
In 2009, she again appeared in Trauma, an American TV show focusing on the lives of paramedics in San Francisco, California, where she played the main character, Nancy Carnahan. In 2011, she appeared on the hit American TV show Once Upon a Time, where she played double roles as Katherine Nolan and Princess Abigail. Throughout the years, she appeared on prominent TV shows, both British and American such as 2012's American drama series Copper where she plays the lead role of Elizabeth Haverford, 2015's Elementary, where she guest appeared for the episode "The View from Olympus" as Agatha Spurrell, the same year she appeared on Zoo playing the role of Audra Lewon as well as The Mystery of Laura where she again made a guest appearance on the episode "The Mystery of the Fateful Fire" as Angela Ryan. In 2019, she played a significant role in the British espionage thriller series Deep State. In which she played the role of CIA agent Amanda Jones.
