Kathleen Nolan

Kathleen Nolan is an American actress by profession. She was born on 27 September 1933. Kathleen was born as Jocelyn Schrum in the city St. Louis, Missouri. When Nolan was just thirteen months old she appeared on showboat Goldenrod on stage. The thereafter she acted on stage for twelve years. Her family had their own troupe named the Circle Stock Company and they acted in tent shows. She did her graduation from St. Louis itself and also she performed a song for a radio station there. Nolan debuted on television with a show named The Philco Television Playhouse, she performed in one of its episode. She played the role of a regular teenager in the ABC sitcom Jamie aired on television in 1953-1954. The sitcom starred Brandon de Wilde in the lead cast. Breaking Point, Crossing Jordan, The Lloyd Bridges Show, Chicago Hope, The Untouchables, Ally McBeal, All My Children, Murder, She Wrote (episode "The Prodigal Father"), The Incredible Hulk, The Rockford Files, Quincy M.E., The Bionic Woman, The Love Boat, Charlie's Angels, Kolchak: The Night Stalker, The Big Valley, Love, American Style, Bewitched, The Alfred Hitchcock Hour, Ben Casey, Burke's Law and Meet McGraw. She played the role of Kate McCoy on the show The Real McCoy’s. She was also in the military sitcom named Broadside which was aired on ABC. Nolan left the show The Real McCoy’s in its last season.

The show was also switched to CBS from ABC and also was shifted from Thursday to Sunday evenings. Also in 1961 during the same show she fell off a horse and was hospitalized and had to stay away from the sets till four months. But the she returned to the show in June. In the year 1980 Nolan was awarded with Women in Film Crystal Award for being the role model as a women and expanding the role of women in entertainment industry. Also, she was nominated for the Emmy award as the Best Supporting Actress in The Real McCoys’s, a comedy series. Nolan got married to Richard Heckenkamp on November 4, 1962. They got divorced on May 19, 1965 while they had a son Spencer born on 19 September 1963.
