Dennys McCoy and Pamela Hickey (Hickey-McCoy Productions) have written, produced, and developed over fifteen hundred programs in animation or live-action television/ film. They have been working in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France, since Dec 2010. In the last three years, they have co-written or scripted "doctored" twelve animated features from eight different countries.

It includes “Realm of the Terracotta” (China), “My Fairy Troublemaker” (Germany), “Teddy Boom!” (Russia, before they invaded Ukraine), “Thingdom” (China & Mexico), and “Bayala” (Germany). They are five-time nominees for the Emmy Award, three-time BAFTA winners, and two-time winners of the Pulcinella Award (Cartoons by the Bay, Italy). They won an Emmy Award. They have written for every continent of the earth except Antarctica. They are now working on international animated features for India, China, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, and France.

Their YouTube series titled “The Adventures of Annie and Ben (Hoolplakidz) has earned over one billion views. They work in every genre of animation: action, pre-school, comedy, action-comedy, boys, girls, and adults. They have worked with Mel Brooks, Joan Rivers, Tom Kenny, Prince of Wales, Charles, Joe Flaherty, Alexei Sayle, Matt Lucas, and the late great Robert Stack. Dennys McCoy worked as a co-developer or writer (with Pamela Hickey) for the animated television series “Sabrina The Teenage Witch" in 2013.  He wrote & developed a new twenty-six episode for the series.

Before this, he worked as writer for many television series such as "DuckTales” (1987), “Widget, the World Watcher” (1990), “Hot Rod Dogs & Cool Car Cats”(1996), “X-Men: Evolution” (2001), “ToddWorld” (2004), “Growing Up Creepie” (2006-2008), “Flea-bitten” (2012-2013), and many others. As a writer, story editor, and co-writer, Dennys McCoy has worked in six television series in 2019, such as Treehouse Tales, Piney: The Lonesome Pine, Smighties Spooky Stories, The Fairy Princess & the Unicorn, Smighties – Small and Mighty Friends, and Smighties. The same year, Green Gold’s “Mighty Little Bheem," which he helped (develop, write, and story-edit), debuted on Netflix in 191 countries. In 2022, he worked as a contributing writer in the animated comedy series "My Fairy Troublemaker," directed by Caroline Origer.

Dennys McCoy worked as a creative partner at Hickey-McCoy Productions and Baboon Animation for over three years (Jan 2018 – Jun 2021). Since August 2017, Dennys McCoy has been working as the former head of story for Green Gold Animation U.S./India. He is working with IPs to develop new series & features for one of the largest & most successful animation companies in the world. He is working directly with Marc Lumer, VP of Green Gold U.S. He worked as a staff writer in the series "The Insectibles” (One Animation Singapore & Germany), which is a hit on Amazon Prime.
