Aakanksha Sakharkar is a Marathi actress and model. She was born on 19 September 1996, in Nagpur, Maharashtra. In her family, she has two siblings, Diti Sakhakar and Prajwal Kayalkar. She was always interested in the theater. She also did a few theater productions and a 4-year acting course during her school time. For her graduation, she went to the Sadabai Raisoni Women’s College at SNDT University, Mumbai. She has done various modeling events and more than 50 TV commercials. Aakanksha made her TV debut with Asa Sasar Surekh Bai, a Marathi TV show. She also played a parallel lead role in Bheti Jiva on Sony Marathi. She has won a few titles, including Miss Nagpur Queen and the Beauty Skin Crown at the Vardhman Fantasy Event. Aakanksha is focusing on clearing her path for Bollywood, but she doesn’t want to quit acting in Marathi films as it's her mother tongue.
