Angad Bawa

Angad Bawa is an assistant director and writer based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He has completed his bachelor's in Mass Media Communication from Jai Hind College, Mumbai. He has also completed his international baccalaureate from The Doon School. He is known for directing multiple movies, which include Airlift, Unresolved, Take 2, etc. Angad started his career in 2011, when he was still at The Doon School. He worked as an assistant director on the short film known as Dazed in Doon. He worked as an assistant director at Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures in 2015. He also worked as a freelance script writer for almost 7 years. Angad and his sister opened an independent production house known as Surdy Birds Movies. He then directed, edited, and produced the movie Take 2, which premiered at the 10th Jagran Festival in 2019. It has won three Best Foreign Film awards and has been played at more than 18 Film Festivals. He also directed the movie Unresolved, which was shown at the International Film Festival of South Asia in Toronto in 2021. Angad produced a string of films that received a positive response and were much praised by the audience.
