Joyeeta Patpatia

Joyeeta Patpatia is a Bollywood director, scriptwriter, and actor based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She has studied Bachelor of Mass Media, Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at RD National College, Mumbai University, Maharashtra. Joyeeta is known for directing, writing, and producing mostly OTT and Web Series.

Joyeeta started her career as a producer in June 2003 by working for McCann Worldgroup in Mumbai. After three years, in 2006, she switched to J. Walter Thompson Worldwide and worked there for a year. After that, she again started working at McCann Worldgroup in 2009, but this time as an executive producer in Bangalore, Karnataka. In 2013, she tried her luck in direction and started working as a freelance director.

Since September 2020, Joyeeta has been working as a director and writer at Creature Film Company in Mumbai. She was the script supervisor for the movie Saas Bahu Aur Sensex, released in 2008. It was based on the life of Upper-middle-class women who leave daytime soaps to invest in the stock market.
