Vibhanshu Vaibhav

Vibhanshu Vaibhav has been a professional writer, director, and theatre worker in the Hindi film industry since 1979. He completed his arts graduation and diploma in dramatic arts from Allahabad University and Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lucknow, respectively, in the academic year 1984-86. Vibhanshu has received several awards for his stories. UP Sangeet Natak Academy Award 2017 for Theatre writing, Pandit Pratap Narayan Mishra Young Writers' Award, and Sahitya Kala Parishad, Delhi Young Directors' Award are a few of many awards which the writer has received for his outstanding works.

His story for the movie Saathi Sanghati got nominated for the best story award. He has written the screenplays for dramas like Maharathi for Sangeet Natak Academy, Delhi's National Theatre Festival, Thumri for Shree Ram Centre, Delhi, Manthan for UP Sangeet Natak Academy, and Shabbakhair for Nagri Natak Mandli, Varanasi. Kaal Katha and Tarsat Jiyra Hamar are some of his new plays. Palayan is a play written by Vibhanshu based on the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nadi Aanshu Bhari, Gadhe ki Barat, Maya Jal, and Comrade are some of his works as a theatre director. Vibhanshu has done screenwriting for movies like Sansmaran, Aisi Lagi Lagan, Budhiya, and many more in Hindi. Beiiman Love, Mosamain Kadal, and Boyz 2 are the famous works of Vibhanshu. He has also worked as a screenwriter for Bhojpuri movies like Mahabharat, Ramala Bahu, and many more.
