Pratyul Joshi

Pratyul Joshi is a well-known Indian singer and lyrics writer based in Mumbai. He was born on December 11th, 1985. He began his career as a street performer in Mumbai before becoming a singer-songwriter. He is a wanderlust and his inspiration for music and lyrics comes out of these travels.

Pratyul Joshi has an impressive educational background. He studied sound engineering at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune, in 2011. He learned more about music production at Audio Media Education in Chennai, an institute affiliated with renowned musician A R Rahman. He has composed songs broadcasted throughout television and radio. He has worked with significant brands and personalities such as Bajaj, Shopperstop, Westside, Future Group, All India Radio, Radio Mirchi, Radio 104 Fever FM, and Viacom 18. He has worked in several documentaries. Also, he won a Student National Award for the documentary "Deja Vu" in 2012.

Pratyul Joshi is a resident artist at the National Streets of Performing Arts in Mumbai. He has also made a name for himself as a solo artist specializing in folk fusion. Pratyul Joshi had several professional highlights in 2013. He was named Best Singer/Songwriter at the Bandstand Revival/NH7.in, a people's choice show. He performed in prestigious events such as the Kalaghoda Music Festival in Mumbai, the Mumbai Women's Half Marathon, and the Americares Spirit of Humanity Awards, among others. His accomplishments and diversified experiences show a focused and accomplished artistic path.
