Jyotsana Paatni’s full name is Jyotsana M Paatni. Her nickname is Jyoti. She is an Indian journalist and television news anchor who works mainly on Indian TV. She was born on July 7. Jyotsana Paatni’s place of birth is Tanakpur, Uttarakhand, India. She completed her secondary education at St. Francis High School in Tanakpur, Uttarakhand. After that, she took a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication & Media Studies at Chitrkara University, Chandigarh (2010 – 2013). Later on, she went to Osmania University, Hyderabad, to pursue her Master’s degree in Communication and Journalism (2014 – 2016). Her nationality is Indian. She belongs to the Hinduism religion. Her hobbies are travelling, yoga, adventure sports, and playing with her dog. Her father, Laxman Paatni who works at the Cricket Association of Uttarakhand.

Her mother’s name is Manju Paatni. She has two brothers, namely Pavnesh Paatni and Gawnesh Paatni. She married Rohit Badyal, who is a Military Personnel. Jyotsana Paatni has spent time in many cities in India, such as Nainital, Chandigarh, and Hyderabad, and now, she has been living in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Jyotsana Paatni always participated in backend production & editing rather than being on camera during her graduation days. She commenced her career as a freelance journalist for the newspaper “The Times of India.” After that, she was a trainee at NDTV, New Delhi. Though she is India’s youngest national news anchor. Jyotsana Paatni is well-versed in English and Hindi language. In addition, she is fluent in Pahari languages, one such being ‘Kumaoni.’ Besides, she was a national level player in the high jump and long jump, as well as a state-level player in boxing. Her school friends were confident that she would make a great career in sports or she end up joining army. Besides, her mother was worried about letting her daughter get injured while boxing or end up getting a scar on her face. Jyotsana Paatni is fond of travelling and finds an interest in adventurous sports. During the podcast, she said that Disha Patni, a famous celebrity, is her cousin. She and Disha Patni used to spend their summer holidays together at their grandparent’s house. She also shares her childhood memories with Disha.
