Samantha Noella

Samantha Noella is the stage name of Samantha Edwards. She is a famous Indian Singer and Vocal Coach based in Mumbai. She has been working as a Singer, Lyricist, and Composer since 1992 and also started coaching classes in 2006. Samantha is a very well-known recording artist and has recorded music for several films and advertisements over the past 25 years. Samantha is married to Dale and has two kids – Lauren and Tyler. Born and brought up in Bandra, Mumbai, Samantha started singing on stage at the age of five. She completed her schooling at Apostolic Convent, Bandra, Mumbai and her graduation from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai with a bachelor’s degree.

Further she completed her master’s degree from Bombay University. Although Samantha is a Western singer, she is well-trained in Indian Classical singing and has studied the Kodaly Method internationally for three years. Her music styles include Rhythm & Blues (R&B), Soul, Blues, Funk, and Jazz. In 2001, Edwards formed her Jazz & Blues band named ‘Samantha Edwards with Take 4’. Her band performed at the International Jazz Yatra in 2002, in Mumbai and also at Panjim Downtown Jazz festival in Goa. Samantha was elected as the Vice President of the Cine Singers’ Association and held the position for ten years. She has also performed in Coke Studio Season 3, in 2013. Samantha has even collaborated with various artists like Louiz Banks, Barbara Morrison, George Brooks, and many others.

Her client list includes Rolls Royce, Porsche, Chivas Regal, Louis Vuitton, Mercedes-Benz, Johnnie Walker, and Microsoft and so on.
