Abhimanyu Jai

Abhimanyu Jai is an Indian production designer and actor. He mainly works in Bollywood movies and TV shows. He was born in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. He completed his schooling from J. N. V. Khandwa in 2009. He went to college at the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphics and Multimedia Animation from Arena Animation, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He resides in Mumbai.

He started his career as a graphic designer.  He worked for Champak Comics in 2013 as an illustrator and animator, and then at Ishta Designs as a graphic artist. He served as the storyboard artist and 2nd assistant art director at Magical Dreams Pvt Ltd in the year 2014. He worked at Edelman India Pvt Ltd and Volvo Cars in 2015 as a graphic designer. For a short period, he worked as a storybook illustrator for Bharti Bhawan Book Publication in 2015. He was the senior graphic designer and visualizer at Popsicle from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, he landed the role of production designer/art director at The Viral Fever where he's still working at to this day.

While working at The Viral Fever, he got the opportunity to work on more than 500 short-format videos and 21 web series for major platforms like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Zee 5, Sony Liv, TVF Originals, Amazon Mini, and MX Player. Having started his career as a graphic designer, he has come a long way to become one of the most successful and praised production directors in the industry. He has been active in the industry as a production designer for more than seven years.

He is known for his work in Awkward Conversations with Girlfriend (2020), F.A.T.H.E.R.S. (2017-2019), PA - Gals (2017-2018), and Kota Factory (2021). His other projects include Who's Your Gynac?
