Utkarshini Vashishtha is a renowned Indian Hindi Screenplay Writer and Director. She is one of the very few female writers in the Indian Film and Television Industry. She has written movies like Gangubai Kathiawadi (2020), Tinki (2018), Sarbjit (2016), Five (2020). She worked as an associate director for movies like Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram Leela (2013), India's Got Talent (2011), The X factor India (2011). Sarbjit is a Hindi drama based on Sarbjit Singh's life. He is an Indian resident of the Bhikhiwind village at the Indo-Pak border. He was convicted as a terrorist by Pakistan`s Supreme Court in 1991, and after twenty-two years in jail he was attacked by the fellow inmates and died after six days.Â
