Vidur Nauriyal

Vidur Nauriyal is a Bollywood scriptwriter. He contributed to the script for the December 2020 release of the anthology film UNPAUSED on Amazon Prime. He graduated from the Rotterdam CineMart, the Jerusalem Film Lab, and the NFDC Screenwriters' Lab. His interest has been particularly piqued by tales that merge the political with the intensely personal. He enjoys experimenting with genres and has authored body horror tales, sarcastic docufiction, love dramas, and political thrillers. He has also worked remotely as a content writer for travel and hospitality companies with US and UK offices.

He wrote the script for the motion picture STALIN's DAUGHTER, which was made by Rainshine Entertainment and was helmed by Nitya Mehra (of the 2019 Amazon Prime original series Made in Heaven). He also contributed to the script for the critically acclaimed and financially successful anthology series UNPAUSED, which will debut on Amazon Prime Video on December 18 and was created by Pink Windows Production and helmed by Nitya Mehra. He contributed to the script for the Ashim Ahluwalia-directed, National Award-winning feature film BOYFRIEND (director of the 2014 feature film MISS LOVELY, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival). The coveted Hubert Bals Fund has been awarded to BOYFRIEND by the Rotterdam International Film Festival for script development.

Additionally, BOYFRIEND was chosen for the 2015 Jerusalem International Film Lab. He translated the subtitles from Hindi to English for the Kabir Mehta-directed and produced documentary BUDDHA.MOV. The movie was shown at the Document Madrid, Mumbai, Ann Arbor, and Tallinn Black Nights film festivals. Tom Collins, a director, nominated for a British Academy Award (BAFTA), used to come up with and develop story concepts. I worked on various projects, some of which are: An animation feature, AN BEAL BOCHT, made by Raw Nerve Productions and Defacto Films, and a 5-part TV miniseries, AN BRONNATANAS/ THE GIFT, both of which had their UK television premieres on October 23, 2014.
