Raman Negi

Raman Negi is an Indian music artist and singer. He is From Chandigarh. Raman Negi used to work in an IT company before entering into music. He had studied Computer Science Engineering and taken up a job in TCS for 6 years before quitting his job in 2012. He was the frontman, composer, and lyricist of ‘ The Local Train The Local Train is an independent pop-rock band of >> Read More... ’, which is a Hindi Rock Band from New Delhi that was formed in Chandigarh and makes use of Hindi and Urdu lyrics giving a blend of ideas that they wish to express through their music.

The band released their debut album ‘Aalas ka Pedh’ in 2015 and also released 4 singles in a year before releasing their debut album. Their 2nd album ‘Vaaqif’ was launched in January 2018, which produced very optimistic results and was one of the most-streamed independent albums on Apple Music India. After the success of their albums, TLT observed a huge demand for their live shows, and they were often invited to perform for their fans all over the country.

Their YouTube channel was one of the rapidly growing channels among the country’s independent artists. Raman Negi’s debut album, Shakhsiyat, dropped in after his withdrawal from the band. There are 10 original songs on Shakhsiyat, which are personal yet magnificent in their themes and guitar-driven music; all furnished in the guitarist-songster’s own Hindi-Urdu lyrics. Raman is presenting his solo performances with producer-musician maverick drummer Shantanu Sudarshan and Gaurav Chintamani as a power trio.
