Riya Duggal

Riya Duggal was born in Mumbai on 6 January 1990. She is an Indian singer and songwriter. She has performed Hindi songs in Bollywood films and albums. She is the co-artist of the pop band 'Simetri' with her sister, Simran. Riya's father was a composer and singer. Her mother is a singer, and her paternal grandfather was a lyricist. Besides singing and songwriting, she liked to travel, play sports, produce music, and read poems. In Encanto, she also provided the Hindi voice for Mirabelle.

Aside from singing Bollywood songs, she strives to build a career in playback singing. As a singer, Riya competed in local talent shows and performances. She recalls piano lessons and Indian classical music classes as boring classes in her childhood. The guitar became her passion after her father's art influenced her. She observed how he played and got inspired by it. With '14 Phere', Riya made her big break in Bollywood playback singing.
