Amitabh Acharya

Amitabh Acharya was born on 8 Januaryin Kolkata currently living in Gurgaon. Heis an Indian supporting actor. He had completed his graduation from University of Calcutta. He is very passionate of travelling and loves cooking in his spare time. He is also a fitness freak. Amitabh Acharya was fond of acting from childhood, and his acting career started in Himachal Pradesh, where he studied dramatic arts at Himachal cultural research forum and theatre academy, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh.He got his first job in 2010 as a supporting actor in the kingdom of dreams, Gurgaon. It was a stage show named Zangoora – The Gypsy Prince.

It was also the longest- running Bollywood stage show in India.He entered the Indian film industry in January 2020, and in the same year, he worked as a playback theatre artist in The Yuva Ekta Foundation. He got selected as an actor on Netflix. He acted as Sub-Inspector Ashok Sharma in the series ‘Delhi Crime’ which was one the most successful project of his life. ‘Delhi crime’ also become the first ever Indian web series to Won International Emmy award. Amitabh Acharya knew for his work in the movies ‘The White Tiger’, ‘The Darling wife’ and ‘Murari-The Mad Gentleman’. His upcoming project is a Bengali movie,‘Golondaaj,’ which is a story of the father of Indian football ‘Nagendra Prasad Sarbadhikari’ who introduced football in India.
