Malti Joshi is an Indian writer who worked for the Hindi film industry. She was born on 4th June 1934 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Except for writer, she is also a novelist and essayist in Hindi and Marathi languages. Malti completed her studies from Madhya Pradesh and graduated from Holkar College, Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Indore.
She is a great writer and won 10+ awards, including Bhavbhuti Alankaran Awards in 1999, Shikhar Samaan in 2006, Ojaswini Samman in 2011, Padma Shri Awards for contributions to literature and education in 2018, Hindi Sevi Samaan in 2018.
