Siva Sekar is a director primarily working in the Tamil film industry. He was born in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. He is known for his skills in directing romance, love and intimacy on screen. He has directed several popular TV shows such as Pandian Stores (2018) about four brothers who run a grocery store in their hometown Kundrakudi and Baakiyalakshmi (2021) which revolves around the life of Bhagyalakshmi (also known as Bhagya) who is a devoted wife, mother and daughter-in-law. He has been part of Vadinamma (2019) a Telugu-language television drama, as a writer. In 2021, Siva Sekar started directing “Vidhya No. 1” an Indian Tamil-language TV series, the story revolves around Vedavalli, a successful entrepreneur who values education and desires an educated daughter-in-law.
