Yaar Kannan

Yaar Kannan is a Tamil film director and screenwriter. His debut film Yaar? (Meaningwho) came out in 1985. It is a horror film produced by S. Thanu, P. Suri and G. Sekaran. This film starred Srinivasa Arjun Sarja and was a success. Kannan assisted Mahendran (also known as J. Alexander) during his early days in the industry and also collaborated with the actor Ramarajan. Namma Ooru Nayagan (1988), Anbu Kattalai (1989) and Kaavalan (1990) were a few films in which he worked along with Ramarajan.Yuga (2006) was a low-budget film with which Kannan had made a comeback.
