Akash Sudhakar

Akash Sudhakar is an Indian actor and director who works mainly in the Tamil film industry. He had produced many television serials before embarked on movie production. Akash moved to Chennai to follow a career in filmmaking. Initially, he worked as an assistant director for television serials. Akash suffered severe suicidal thoughts when he did not receive the break that he wanted. Akash overcame his depression and came back into producing television serials. In 2016, he started the shooting of the film Garuda Paarvai, but it got shelved for some reason.

Besides directing the film, he produced and on top played the protagonist role. Sudhakar also scored the music for the film. He introduced many new supporting actors in the film. The team held the audio launch of the movie with the presence of social activist Traffic Ramaswamy.

The movie got released on 9th February 2018. Akash Sudhakar is an Atheist. He has a YouTube channel where Akash publishes videos on social issues, entertainment, and politics regularly. He recently supported the movie Draupathi when the media opposed the release of it in the theatre.
