Varsha Ashwathi

Varsha Ashwathi is a Tamil model and film actress. She was born on April 22, 1989, in Kolkata, India to Rakesh Awasthi, a Marine Engineer. She and her family shifted to Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu when she was just four years old.

Varsha studied at Holy Cross Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School in Chennai. She took a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management before she joined the beauty pageant called Ms. Chennai, where she won the Ms. Beautiful Smile and Ms. Beautiful Face awards. From there, someone saw her photo and offered her for a role in the Tamil action adventure film, ‘Peranmai’ in 2009. Since then, there was no looking back. Varsha never thought of becoming an actress since she doesn’t have any acting background and no one in her family came from the showbiz industry.

The beautiful and charming actress, Varsha Ashwathi, was born on 22nd April in the year of 1989. The 26 years old actress’s native place is West Bengal, and she later soon shifted to the city of Tuticorin, situated in the state of Tamil Nadu. She is intelligent and witty, no doubt as comes from such a scholar family where her father Rakesh and her brother Rohan both are marine engineers. Her other sibling Sai Karan is still a student now. Her passion for art and dancing made her well versed and trained in the classical dance form called Kathak. She marked her debut with the ace director S. P. Jananathan's venture called Peranmai (2009). The actress was seen in the character of Tulsi, who was an NCC cadet.
