. She was born in Edgware, London. Her father is Selva, and her mother is Suguna Selva. She did her schooling at Henrietta Barnett School, London, and completed her graduation from Cardiff College. She is a physician by profession. She left the job to pursue her career in singing. She was one of the contestants of the Tamil Singing Reality Show Super Season Senior Singer 7. She has also sung the Uyire song along with Villuppuram Yogi and Poornima for the movie Velaikkaran. She is known for the film Bakrid, released in 2019.
