South Indian actor Muthukumar (also known as Vettai Muthukumar) is well known for his work in Tamil cinema. He was born on April 24, 1977 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. In 2011, he made his acting debut in the film Vettai and appeared in Petta, Sarpatta Parambarai, and Mahaan. Muthukumar was a member of the Na Muthuswamy-trained Tamil theatre company Koothu-P-Pattarai in 2002. His works of art have been included in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films. He took part in Season 2 of Cook with Comali, which is broadcast on Vijay Television.
