Murali Sadatcharam, or professionally known as EMS Murali, is a Tamil dubbing artist. He was born on 16 April 1960 in Tamil Nadu, India. He is an exceptional artist in the field of dubbing, and he is well-known for his dedication. EMS Murali has been working as a voice-over artist for almost 30 years. Murali has a separate fan base among children. He is the voice behind the famous animated character Motu in the animated TV show Motu Patlu (Tamil dub). He accepted the offer and did justice to the role which he dubbed. The rest is history. Kids fell in love with this show, and they were in sync with the character of Motu and his voice up to a level where they cannot imagine any other dubbing artist taking over the project from Murali. He mentioned in a few interviews that how much fame he gained from this role. Apart from this, he had dubbed more than a thousand episodes of a few cartoons in the Telugu language. Another role for which Murali dubbed was the voice of uncle’s character for Jackie Chan’s animated series. This role too brought so much popularity to EMS Murali among children.
He also worked in a Tamil social mythological TV series, Velan. Sun TV broadcasted this show. He also worked on another serial by Sun TV named Bommalatam. During his early days, he worked in R.S. Manohar’s plays. In 2014, a group of dubbing artists who frequently visited Mantralaya had performed a play named Sri Raghavendra. Sri Parimalacharya Creations produced it. The play was staged and recorded for Kartik Fine Arts. EMS Murali completely gestated the whole act.
