Sesha Sindhu Rao

Sesha Sindhu Rao is a director who works in the Telugu film industry. Sesha is one of the most talented up and coming directors in the industry, despite being a female, which is very rare in Telugu film industry, though her hard work and determination she has made a name for herself.

Sesha started out as an assistant cameraman on the sets of Money Money More Money in 2011. After showcasing her talents she was hired as the assistant director in the movie Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum. In the same movie, she is also credited for her work in costume designing.

She made her directorial debut on the critically acclaimed Choosi Choodangane, a coming of age love story about a boy who falls in love with two different girls during his time in college.

In a press release for the movie, Sesha spoke about the lack of female directors in the Telugu film industry, and how she felt the lack of support from producers who don’t take the risks of signing on for female directors.
