Shabnam Majeed

Shabnam Majeed is a Pakistani singer and TV playback singer. She predominantly sings in Urdu language. She was born in Pakistan. She got married to the music director Wajid Ali Wajid Ali is a part of the most popular Hindi musi >> Read More... . They later separated in February 2020. They had a son, Naqi Ali, who died at the young age of seven after falling down a flight of stairs. Shabnam Majeed has a brother, Abdul Waheed, who was shot dead on 18th November 2020.

Shabnam's music career started at the age of seven. She first gained fame in Pakistan for her remix of the single Dil Cheez Hai Kya. In 2016, she collaborated with Alhamra Arts Counci to form an organization whose aim is to teach music to street kids. This organization was called the Lucky Ali Foundation, named after her late son.

She is well-praised and recognized for her work in the Pakistani music industry. She has had several praises for her work in local newspapers, like The Express Tribune, Dawn, Business Recorder, etc. She got the PTV Award for Best Singer for the music video 'Anarkali' in 2006
