The legendary English actor, George Edward Cole, died at the age of 90 due to a short illness. George became famous after portraying the role of Arthur Daley, an elusive used-car dealer in the British comedy drama series, Minder, from where he acted for more than a decade. The actor who has spent more than 70 years in the business was also known for his portrayal as Flash Harry in St. Trinian’s series of films.

', Cole’s co-star in Minder said he spent one Tuesday afternoon with the actor and said, though Cole was very weak, his humor was still obvious.
Director Spencer Hawken also got the chance to talk to the actor to inform him that their film, Road Rage was delayed. George was still very positive in looking at things and asked the director to move on because he wants to do another film before he dies.
