plays the young Coco Chanel in the short film ‘Once and Forever’ about the founder of the French fashion house Chanel. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Chanel has revealed some footage from behind-the-scenes. Kirsten, 25, will appear wearing some lovely Victorian works, full with frilly white collar in this high fashion period film. 1st Dec will see Director Lagerfield and Chanel’s creative director premiering the film at Chanel's Metiers d'Art show in Rome.
Lagerfield showcases Chanel through the different stages of her life, mainly from behind-the-scenes, covering costume tests, script meetings and the glitz, glam et al of old Hollywood. Geraldine Chaplin co-stars with Kristen Stewart to play Coco Chanel at different ages. This is the 4th time that Chaplin plays Chanel and she plays the middle-aged Coco.
Lagerfield had this to say about his muse Kristen,”She can look like Coco and I wished to show Coco Chanel in all the stages of her life and also her comeback in the 1950’s.” Others starring in the upcoming film are Jeremie Elkaim, Francois Marthouret, Amanda Harlech, Jamie Bochert, Jake Davies, Baptiste Giabiconi and Laura Brown.
