According to Hooper, the film industry is the one who has an issue with the transgender actors, with many who cannot secure roles even if there is a huge pool of talent. He adds, “I would champion any shift where the industry embraces trans actors. and celebrates trans film-makers.”
The Danish Girl is slated to hit the US theatres on November 27.
