Violence Minimized For $30M!
South Korean filmmaker, Kim Ki-duk is a notable person for pushing the limits of onscreen brutality. He is popular for depicting the ghastly details of everything from rape to castration. He is the winner of the Venice Golden Lion. He says that he will be minimizing his usual formula for the Chinese movie. This is the first time; he is working on a Chinese movie, called “Who Is God”. This movie is said to be a war epic movie, which is set for a budget of $30 Million. And it is also said that, he has virtually retired from the Korean film industry.

Kim has received an amount of about $30 million from China to make the film. And that is why he is keenly working on it. It is said to be three times the budget of his 20 movies, said Kim. Kim opened his heart and reported to the media people on the Busan International Film Festival. For his Chinese movie, Kim wants to cater a wider range of viewers and hence he tones down his usual script. Kim had been working on the script of “Who Is God”, for more than a decade.
