The clash between Kantara and Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari is turning personal for both sides.
According to recent reports, Vijay Kiragandur’s Hombale Films have demanded exclusive screening in single-screen as well as 2-3 screen theaters, where there shall be no sharing with Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, the romantic comedy backed by Karan Johar’s production company, Dharma Productions.
This is not the first time Hombale Films clashed with Bollywood biggies over screen sharing. When Salaar was scheduled for release, the makers clashed over the unfair distribution of screens to Dunki, led by Shah Rukh Khan. It was another matter that Dunki failed to impress the audience, and emerged as a commercial success only due to the overseas revenue.
Kantara : Chapter 1 will officially clash with Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari on October 2, i.e., the double occasion of Vijayadashami and Gandhi Jayanti.
