The film is yet untitled, but there is some news on Dulquer's character in the film.
He will be playing a 'Thrissurkkaran', someone who hails from the Thrissur city in Kerala. His character comes from a rich background and brings his family into focus. The family survives on business.
The film will highlight the relationship between the father and son of the family. While Dulquer plays the son, Mukesh is cast for the father's role.
Director Sathyan tells that Mukesh and Mammooty have worked together previously on-screen, and Dulquer and Mukesh will be a new duo for the fans.
The untitled film is said to be a family entertainer and is already in the pre-production stage. The movie’s shooting should start by July this year according to sources.
The script is ready, but the team is finding a location for the film somewhere in Thrissur obviously.
Actor Mammootty has acted as a 'Thrissurkkaran' in 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint' directed by Ranjith. Hopefully, son Dulquer can pull off the character just like his father did.
