Ranjith lauded the actor via Facebook. His post reads, “Padmasoorya Govind is one of the nicest guys I have met in films. Too nice for a film star actually! Shibu Majeed was an interesting character and the actor playing him need to learn zumba, guitar etc. In that sense the role which needed most preparation. GP spent time before shoot learning zumba and practicing other stuff needed for shibu. I am pretty much sure he's gonna be called few names used in the movie after release. And hope he takes it :)) He has a great sense for scripts. Remember he suggested few important changes. Hope this guy goes far. He deserves to!!”
