and the movie hit the silver screens across the state of Kerala. The actor essays the roe of Chandu Chekavar, which happens to be the lead character in the movie. It is to be noted that Chandu Chekavar is the legendary folktale warrior of the North Malabar. In an interview, the movie’s director revealed that initially Mohanlal was considered for the movie. Also, the director divulged that he had sent a copy of the script to Mohanlal.
As he did not receive any reply, he proceeded choosing other actors in the movie. Initially, Jayaraj had auditioned about 4000 actors for the role. Finally, he chose Kuna Kapoor for the lead role in the movie. The movie has other actors as
