Mohanlal is one among the lead actors in the Malayalam cine field. Mohanlal will be doing the lead role in the much talked about movie Odiyan. The movie is by debutant director Shrikumar Menon. It is to be noted that Shrikumar will be directing the Mohanlal starrer Randamoozham. The movie is a production by Mohanlal’s close associate Antony Perumbavoor, and it is under the banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

As a matter of interest, Prakash Raj and Mohanlal will be sharing the screen space for the movie Odiyan. It happens to be after a gap of twenty years. The team earlier worked for Mani Ratnam’s movie Iruvar for which Prakash Raj won the National Award for the role of best-supporting actor.
