Rajesh Pillai
, the famous Mollywood director, died today, due to liver failure. “
Vettah
,” directed by Rajesh Pillai released yesterday. The director, who was suffering from liver cirrhosis, didn’t care it well, due to his tight schedule of “Vettah.” He was admitted to the PVS Hospital in Kochi in the critical condition. He was supposed to do the liver transplantation. Though he was under the treatment, the hectic work with Vettah made him suffer a lot. He was kept on the ventilator. As his body stopped to react to medicines, he was taken to Kochi from Trivandrum. Rajesh is survived by wife, Mekha. The 41 years filmmaker started his career with
Kunchacko Boban
starrer, “Hridhayathil Sookshikkan.” Sadly, his last film was also with Kunchacko in “Vettah.” Rest In Peace Rajesh! Our heartfelt condolences to Rajesh’s family!
