All the election campaigns got over today at 5 pm. Puducherry Election officer announced that no films would be screened in the cinema halls in Puducherry from tomorrow night till the polls get over. All the shows are cancelled. The union territory Puducherry has only one constituency. The election date is 18th April 2019 and it is the second phase in the Lok Sabha Polls.
The final phase of Lok Sabha polls will be held on 19th April 2019 and the election results will be announced on 23rd May 2019. Today, the President rescinded the Vellore Lok Sabha polls due to a heavy cash inflow in the constituency. So, Tamilnadu will have polls only for 38 constituencies.
