Vignesh Shivan
, who made his debut as a director in “Poda Podi” with “
Silambarasan
” and
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar
, became popular after the super hit film, “Naanum Rowdy Dhaan” with “Nayantara” and
Vijay Sethupathi
. He has been gearing up to work with Vijay Sethupathi again in August. Meanwhile, the director has penned songs for “
Remo
” featured by “
Sivakarthikeyan
” and
Keerthy Suresh
. The music composition is by
Anirudh Ravichander
. The single track of Remo will be released at SIIMA in Singapore. When speaking about his journey as a lyricist, Vignesh says, "Remo song is Sivakarthikeyan's introduction song and it will not look like the stereotypical hero praising. It will explain Siva's character and reveal one of the interesting roles which he is playing in the film. The romantic track, Senjittale, is written on the lines of Thangamey of Nannum Rowdy Dhaan. I came to the cinema industry with an idea of becoming a lyricist and dialogue writer. Even after becoming a director, I couldn’t give up my writing skills. I spare some time to write songs. In short, I am a full-time director and a part-time lyricist."
