Prakash Jha, a director, film producer and screenwriter, was born on 27th of February 1952. ‘Prakash Jha Productions’ is his production venture. Hailing from Bihar, Prakash Jha went on to study B.Sc Honors in Ramjas College. Eventually he stopped studies and came to Mumbai, wanting to be a painter. As he was preparing for entrance exam for a course in painting, Prakash Jha watched the movie Dharma, and thus developed a passion for film making.
