CAST & CREW
Delhi Safari is India’s first ever locally produced stereoscopic 3d animated movie. Let’s see how this movie has turned out to be.
Five incredible animals travel to the Parliament in Delhi to get justice to the jungle. Why? Because there’s a crisis in their otherwise smooth life; individuals from urbane society forcefully enter their forest space in Mumbai for the purpose of forming lots of tower. And our hero cub leopard is not the one to give up and he takes up the journey along with other animals.
The voices add to the intensity of the movie. Boman Irani for Bagga gives a dignified voice. Govinda (whose strength is comedy), with his Bihari slang for the monkey, will surely manage to tickle your funny bones. Akshaye Khanna, Swini Khara, Suniel Shetty and Urmila Matondkar too have done a great job with voiceover.
The movie, directed by Nikhil Advani, is also interspersed with Hindi film dialogues. There’s a lot of spoof and fun in the movie. The contemporary topic of safeguarding of wildlife is dealt with in the film in an intelligent manner. And not to miss deforestation…Well, the director should be applauded for presenting a serious concern in a comical manner.
The film is a clear sign of how Indian movies are faring in the animation front.
What’s not there?
The film is overloaded with drama and song that sometimes we find it intolerable.
This ride won’t disappoint you.
