Indian playback singer and album artist Sonu Kakkar was born in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Neha Kakkar, and Tony Kakkar are the siblings of Sonu kakkar. She started singing jaguars when she was five years old. She was the contestant of the V channel shows Indian Pop Star. Karan Vishwanath Kashyap is a famous Indian director and writer. He is popularly known for his super hit film Sab Kushal Mangal, starring Akshaye Khanna, Riva Kishan, and Priyaank Sharma. It was released in 2020 and was a great success. He is also the writer of Sab Kushal Mangal. He worked in the script and continuity department for films like Saathiya (2002) and Bluffmaster (2005). He is the dialogue supervisor for Dil Chahta hai (2001) and Lakshya (2004). Karan Vishwanath also worked as a second unit director for movies like Raavan (2010), Chak De India (2007), Don (2006), and Banti Aur Babli (2005).

Parlav Chaudhary is an actor, assistant director, and writer. He graduated from the New York Film Academy. He has worked with several notable filmmakers from Hollywood, including the Oscar Winner Justin Chadwick. He has also worked with a lot of studios. To name a few, Shire Productions, Viacom, Universal Studio, CBS Studio, Balaji Films, Camp Entertainment, and Vishal Bhardwaj. Parlav was one of the assistant-directors for the 2013 horror thriller Ek Thi Daayan. He also was the assistant director for the 2022 action film Ponniyin Selvan: Part I. In 2019, he directed an AD film, Coca-Cola My Joy, which won the Best AD Film Award at the New Delhi Film Festival and the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival. Currently, he works as a freelance Associate director and an Independent Director, along with writing.

Born in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, Brijendra Kala is a very talented though underrated artiste and he stepped into mainstream cinema during the year 2005 with the film “Haasil”. The movie had Jimmy Shergill in the lead and it was a success. Brijendra Kala donned the character of a new vendor in the movie. He had also acted in successful movies, including “Jab We Met” and “Agneepath”. In Jab We Met he took up the character of Taxi Driver and his performance was recognized. Harshit Saxena is a playback singer, music composer and director. He was born on August 22, 1984 in Lucknow, India. He got his fame after joining the musical competition, Voice of India. He was having a Physiotheraphy semestral exams but he left it to attend the audition for Voice of India. He was hesitant on his decision but his father told him to choose to risk it all for the audition and he became one of the finalists and received a motorcycle for having the highest votes in one of the episode. Harshit won’t be able to take a leap on his life without the support of his family. His father becomes very proud of him and gave him his blessings. 

Harshit’s passion for singing started when he was in class 8th. He adored Kishore Kumar. He grooms his voice so he could match the power and melody of Kishore. When he was 14 years old, he records his voice on Kishore’s karaoke tracks. His father bought him a home theatre where he can record his voice and since then, he started to practice for hours. He also joined the Lucknow Mahotsav event but lost for two consecutive years, but he didn’t lose hope and continue to fight until he got the first prize. He grooms through his guru, Shri Gulshan Bharti Ji. 

Harshit joined many talent hunt shows to no luck, until he joined the Voice of India and got the second place next to Ishmeet Singh Sodhi. In 2008, he also joined the reality show, Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star on STAR Plus. Joining the Voice of India, he was able to attain new heights. He had many exposures and he became a playback singer for Mr. Bhatt’s upcoming movies. He received accolades and praises from the celebrity guest but he got his biggest compliment from Lata Mangeshkar Ji stating that “he deserves to be the winner of Voice of India”.

Bappi Lahiri is a famous Music Composer of India. Born on 27 November 1952 in a Hindu Bengali background, at Kolkata, Bappi Lahiri was instrumental in the popularization of Disco music in Indian films. Namak Halaal, Disco Dancer, and Sharaabi are the songs of the 1980s that made him popular. Both the parents of Bappi were working in the music industry. Bappi fostered the intention to become an international name in his childhood. He was just three years old when he played Tabla. His parents trained him in singing. The 1972 Bengali flick “Daadu” was the first movie for which Bappi composed music. At that time, Bappi was just 19. 

Bhoomi Trivedi is a female playback singer in Gujarati and Hindi movies. She was a participant in a reality show, ‘Indian Idol 3’. Bhoomi hails from Gujarat. She gave audition for ‘Indian Idol 3’ but left the show in the middle on account of her illness. She was suffering from jaundice and had no other option but to quit the show. Next year, she again had auditioned for’ Indian Idol 4’ and this time also she could not take part in the full telecast as her aunt had passed away when she was in the show.  However, she attempted again to participate next year in the ‘Indian Idol 5’ and ended the competition as a runner-up. Swaroop Khan is a playback singer born on 7th August 1991 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Swaroop turned popular after participating in the reality singing show “Indian Idol Season 5.” The show's judges were Anu Malik, Sunidhi Chauhan, and Salim Merchant. Hussain Kuwajerwala and Abhijeet Sawant hosted the show. Swaroop could not make it in the finals. But, he earned a good name and fame. He got an opportunity to enter Bollywood with the film The Emotional Atyachar. He sang the title track with Bappi Lahiri, Toolika Das, and Upasona. In 2014, he got the offer to play in the Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Sushant Singh Rajput starrer, “PK.” He crooned the song, Tharki Chokro, composed by Ajay and Atul. In the same year, he crooned for Hawaa Hawaai, composed by Hitesh Sonik. Partho Gupte, Saqib Saleem, and Pragya Yadav played the lead roles in Hawaa Hawaai. The busiest foley artist, Mohammad Iqbal Paratwada, is believed to work in almost every film and with actor or actress of the Bollywood film industry. His career was initiated in 2002 from the notable crime-drama film Eyes. This film, directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, became a blockbuster. Born on September 12th, 1976, in Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, Tariq Umar Khan is an Indian production designer and art director in Bollywood. He is married to NadiriTariq Khan and is a father of two beautiful daughter Filzah khan (8yrs old) and Hifza khan (4yrs old). Tariq is the son of Late Abdul Sattar Khan, who was working as a bus conductor in Mumbai. Under his elder brother, Haris Umar Khan, a knownArt Director, he got a chance to work in the crown studio with a studio manager. Since childhood, he has been more interested in the creative side than the academic side. For his graduation, he went to Annamalai University. After his graduation, he worked as a freelance graphic designer. Later, he started working as a costume designer and stylist in the Tollywood and Bollywood film industries. Some of his notable work includes Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. in 2003, Krrish 3 in 2013, Kick in 2014, Housefull 3 in 2016, Chef in 2017, Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India in 2018, Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019, Mrs. Serial Killer in 2020, and Agent in 2022.

Karan Varia is a professional in the editorial department. He is also an assistant director or second unit director and a member in the Camera and electrical department. He has worked in the Hindi film industry. Karan Varia is best known for his movies Jaya which came in the year 2015, Shree in the year 2013 and several more. Karan Varia was born in Mumbai in Maharashtra, India. He is living and working there since. Karan Varia got his school education from Shri Mahashri Vidya Mandir at Chanda in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Akshaye Khanna is a popular Indian film actor. He was born on March 28, 1975, in Mumbai, Maharashtra in India to Bollywood actor, Vinod Khanna and Geetanjali Khanna. His brother, Rahul Khanna is also an actor and they are both members of South Mumbai’s Royal Willingdon Sports Club. Akshaye studied at Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute in Mumbai. 

After this, he was debuted in the Bollywood romance film, Himalay Putra in the year 1997, along with Hema Malini, Satish Shah, and Johnny Lever. This film was produced by his father, but it became unsuccessful at the box-office. In the same year, he acted in Sunny Deol-starrer film, Border. His role as the 2nd Lieutenant was initially offered to Aamir Khan, but due to date issues, the actor declined the offer and so Akshaye was cast in the film. Akshaye was starred in the Bollywood romantic drama musical film, Aa Ab Laut Chalen, alongside Rajesh Khanna. Though the film did an average business at the box-office, he received praises for his brilliant acting. Akshaye acted opposite Aishwarya Rai in the critical and commercial Bollywood romantic drama film, Taal, which was helmed by Subhash Ghai. In the year 2001, Akshaye appeared in the multi-starrer comedy-drama film, Dil Chahta Hai, alongside Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Kulkarni, Preity Zinta and Dimple Kapadia. This film became a defining moment in his career as it turns out to be a commercial and critical success. Akshaye later appeared in Abbas-Mustan’s blockbuster thriller film Race in 2008. This film became the 4th highest-grossing film of the year and his character as Rajeev Singh earned him the Screen Awards and IIFA Awards for Best Villain. But his performance as Harilal Gandhi, the son of Mahatma Gandhi (played by Darshan Jariwala) in the critically acclaimed biographical drama film, ‘Gandhi, My Father’ was considered as his best performance as an actor. 

In the year 2010, Akshaye was starred in the action-comedy film, No Problem, along with Sanjay Dutt and Kangana Ranaut in the lead role. He was also praised by his performances in the action thriller film, Aakrosh and in the heist comedy film, Tees Maar Khan in 2010. Besides acting, Akshaye voiced the character of Alex the Parrot in the 3D animated film, Delhi Safari in 2012. Mukesh Bhatt is an Indian film producer who was born on June 5, 1952, to Nanabhai Bhatt and Shirin Mohammad Ali. He is a younger brother of renowned filmmaker and screenwriter Mahesh Bhatt. Nanabhai’s brother was Balwant Dutt, who was also a movie director. The duo brother had made some successful movies such as ‘Aaashiqui’, ‘Jurm’,’ Sadak’, and ‘Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin’. The duo had tried to launch a career of Pooja Bhatt, who is Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter ( Sadak and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin) along with Aamir Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Films like Aashiqui and Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin had given a facelift to the career of playback Kumar Sanu and Anuradha Paudwal and even music composer Nadeem Shravan. He is married to Nilima Bhatt, and they have a son called Vishesh and a daughter called Sakshi. The family has also launched a film production company Vishesh Films after their son Vishesh. Vishesh Bhatt has also turned himself as a director with Murder-3.

Nalneesh Neel is an Indian actor and was born on 13 October 1987. He also performs in his production theatre named SRS Entertainment. He keeps working on projects from films, short films to theatres. His short films are The Foreigner, Acche Din, and Umeed. In Bollywood, his famous roles are in Fukrey Returns, Raees, and Shudh Desi Romance. His roles in the upcoming productions are Chhichhore, Gulabo Sitabo, and Bhor.

Rakesh Bedi along with Staish Shah can be termed as the pioneer of comedy in the Indian TV industry. They both acted in ‘Yeh Jo Hai Zindagi’ the epic comedy serial aired on 1984 in good old Doordarshan.
