Kannada Movie Review Kaafi Thota - Cast & Crew

Sinchan Dixit is a renowned playback singer in India who predominantly works in the Kannada industry. She has worked in famous movies like Gagana Chukki, Yaksha, etc. Although all her works were appreciated, her singing in Gagana Chukki received the most recognition from everyone. She has sung other songs like Preethige Hotthu, Bandha Duritha, Tanu Mana Dhanakke, Jaane Jaa, Manjari Manjari, etc. Many people aren't aware that Sinchan is a cricket enthusiast too, and she was a celebrity presenter and concert performer in the Karnataka Premier League.

Radhika Chetan is just one-film old in Sandalwood. Earlier, she worked for a corporate company and had developed an interest in joining films. She joined 'V Move Theatre' where she got an opportunity to act in stage plays such as Nannavala Kagada, Namma Metro, Magadi Days, Mirror Mirror. 

Apeksha Purohit is a Kannada Actress who works in movies and TV Series. She made her debut in the Sandalwood Industry in the year 2017 with the film named Kaafi Thota, a thriller directed by T. N. Seetharam. The cast of this movie includes Raghu Mukherjee, Radhika Chetan, Samyuktha Hornadu, Veena Sundar, etc. Her second film was Kinare directed by Devaraj Poojary, which released in 2018.

Ashok Kashyap is a famous Sandalwood Cinematographer. He was born and grew up in the city of Bengaluru. His father's profession was a Government Doctor. His interest in cinematography originated in his schooling days. Taking the interest forward, he joined the Government Film and Television Institute, Bangalore, and The Film and Television Institute, Pune. He pursued a journalism program at Madurai Kamaraj University. His initial start was through Doordarshan. In his beginner days, he worked in the movie Bhuvana Jhyothi (1994)

Anoop Seelin was born in the town of Hassan, Karnataka on 24th of October. He's known to be a multi-talented personality, especially in the Kannada film industry. He works as a music director as well as a playback singer.

Midhun Mukundan is an Indian Musician, and composer. He mainly works for Kannada Film Industry. He is very famous for his work in the movie like Srinivas ​Kalyana in the year 2017, OnduMotteyeKathe in the year 2017; other projects are Kahi in the year 2016, KaafiThota in the year 2017. He is also an Indian Music director and actor by profession. He has Indian nationality. His movie KaafiThota breaks the theater in the year 2017.

Jayanth Gourish Kaikini is an Indian Lyricist, Story Teller and Poet working in Kannada Cinema and Kannada Literature. Jayanth was born on the 24th of January 1955 in Gokarna, Uttara Kannada, Karnataka State, India. Jayanth was born to Gourish Kaikini, a Kannada litterateur and Shanta, a school teacher, and a social worker. After a masters in Biochemistry which he attained from Karnataka University, Dharwad, Kaikini moved to Mumbai where he was working as a Chemist. He is now living in Bangalore with his wife and two children. Jayanth is regarded as one of the most prominent writers in Kannada today. He writes film scripts, poetry, and short stories.

Gururaj Hoskote is an Indian film actor and singer who works in the Kannada industry. He was born on 26 May 1948, Mahalingapur, Karnataka. He is active in the industry since 1992. He has recorded fifty-plus albums and Rhymes. He has also sung for films. He loves to wear traditional dresses. He has associated with many movies like Jai Kesari Nandana, Yogi, Govindaya Namaha, Hulidurgaa. His previous film to hit in the theatre was Jaggi Jagganatha in the year 2020. He is also very active at the age of seventy. He practices daily three hours on musical instruments. He also appeared as a guest in many TV shows. He is also a music teacher. He has also got many awards. He stays away from the internet and likes to read books. He loves being with family. He said that the young generation is energetic, but nowadays they can't face challenges and commit suicide. We elders should give them confidence and traditional and cultural education and I am giving this with my singing, said Gururaj.

Haricharan Seshadri is an eminent Carnatic singer who gives his vocal in many Malayalam, Tamil, and other regional movies. He made his debut through the Tamil flick ‘Kadal’, in which he got the chance to sing two solo songs "Unakkena Iruppaen" and the title song "Kaadhal". In the same movie, he also had sung a duet song ‘Thottu Thottu’ with Harini Shankar. 
 

Raghu Mukherjee is an Indian model and film actor and was born on 2 April, 1981. He mostly works in Kannada film industry and is a famous movie actor of south He was born in Bengaluru and has been in the industry since 2003. He was the winner of Mr. International and Grasim Mr. India titles in 2002. He pursued his modeling career after that but in year 2003 he got his first movie Paris Pranaya in which he played the character Krish. He then worked in Savaari as the character Abhiram in 2009 that gave the much required boost to his acting career and he was recognized for his acting skills in that movie and also nominated for the best film actor FilmFare Award Kannada that year. The movie was a success on box office and his performance was applauded by audiences. He stated that he, his family and his in laws all were very happy with the success of the film and he got 11 lead role offers after that which he is yet to decide. After that he worked in some other movies such as Prema Chandrama and after that in Nee Illadhe with Pooja Gandhi. In 2012, he worked in a gangster based movie Dandupalya that was very successful and he was nominated for SIIMA award for best actor in supporting role and after that he was signed for the role of Mahavir Buddha in Angulimala. Besides his acting career he also has hosted on TV and worked in many commercials as well.

In Aakramana film he tried horror genre and in latest movie Apna Desh he is going patriotic. He has done versatile roles and made a special place in the hearts of his audience. He also had started his own architectural company and is also busy with it these days till the shooting of Apna Desh starts. He says that this field is creative and interesting and he has some ideas that he wants to try out in architecture field.

Achyuth Kumar was born in Bangalore. He has acted in both Kannada and Tamil movies. He was trained in "Ninasam", a cultural organization committed to the development of drama, films and publishing, in the Shimoga district of Karnataka. He made his debut in the Kannada film 'Josh' in 2009. He is widely known for his spectacular performances in the Kannada films, Lucia and Sidlingu. However, he gained widespread critical acclaim and fame for his character as movie theatre owner Shankaranna in the super hit film Lucia, which made him an overnight star and bagged him prestigious Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actor. He is one of the tremendous performers in the emotional roles and character-based roles. He shot to fame and people started to notice his acting abilities from the super hit movie ‘Aa Dinagalu’ released in the year 2007, as underworld don Oil Kumar.

Sundar Raj is a Sandalwood (Kannada Film Industry) actor born in 1951 in Tamil Nadu. His father is M N Krishnaswamy, an ex-serviceman, and his mother, Vijayalakshmi, he says, was a huge movie buff. He went to National College. His first appearance was in the film Immadi Pulikeshi in 1967. He has worked in more than 180 films in Kannada. He has also served as the Secretary of the Kannada Film Artist Association.
