This movie is a tale of four people, Biju Menon, Asif Ali, Asha Sarath, am newbie Rajisha Vijayan. However, the absence of promotion and not very grand showcasing did not make a pre-release expectation level for this film, and people didn't know about this movie till the trailer release. The film focuses on the relations of two couples, and in the meantime giving due significance to father-child bond.
Plot: The tale of Anuraga Karikkin Vellam rotates mostly around four characters. Raghu is a cop, who lives with his significant other Suma and their two children. Abhilash Raghu’s son is an architect and an agent of today's childhood. Abhilash falls for a young lady named Elizabeth. But he doesn’t like that she cares for him too much so decides to break up with her. Elizabeth loves him dearly hence is not ready to leave him. On the other hand, his father Raghu coincidently sees his ex-lover and his guilt resurfaces, so he decides to find her and apologize for his mistakes and hurting her. The movie goes on to elaborate these circumstances in both father’s and son’s life.
Analysis: Khalid Rahman has proved his potential as a director and he was in control of the movie throughout. He possesses the capacity to deliver quality work. The freshness in the idea has helped the film, a great deal. The comedy quotient stays throughout the film but it never moves far from the rationality factor. The cinematography is by Jimshi Khalid, who is additionally the sibling of Khalid Rahman. He has done a great job by catching a few edges that suit the film especially well. Editing by Noufal Abdullah is efficient and keeps up the right pace.
Star Performance: It is nice to see Biju Menon in such a reviving role, and he exceptionally exceeds expectations as Raghu. Asif Ali is unquestionably enhancing with every movie, and he gave a decent performance as Abhilash. Asha Sarath as the mother was an adept choice. Debutante Rajisha Vijayan too exceeded expectations in the role of Elizabeth.

Verdict: Anuraga Karikkin Vellam, is an adorable, straightforward film, considerably one of the best family related movies in Mollywood, which strikes the hearts of the audience. The film is substantially more than a sentimental romantic story since it appears like watching our own home life on screen and it digs profoundly into the significance of family connections, without preaching morality. A genuinely great watch!
