The shift from acting to direction is becoming more popular today – with actresses jumping the fence at an increasing rate. Lakshmy Ramakrishna’s first attempt as a director was noticed in ‘Aarohanam’ in 2012 which was lauded by audiences as well as by the critics. The apparent ease with which actor becomes directors is not very popular amongst actresses. Hence, she caught the media attention in India and her second film "Ammini" was based on a 79-year-old woman rag-picker, whom she met in a TV show. When she got this idea, she did not waste her time and narrated the story to producer Ven Govind and felt that the rag-picker woman will remain as a theme of her film. In this film, she also plays a very important role.

Earlier, in 2014, she made another attempt in her directorial venture. She made ‘Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe’ which was based on a journey to Trichy and Karaikal and had dealt with petrol issues witnessed in the society. The film was low budgeted and the film was also appreciated by critics, and could not capture the minds of viewers.

Before making her debut as a director, she had acted in TV serials (Aval in STAR Vijay) and was seen in the reality show ‘Solvathellam Unmai’ in Zee Tamil. She has tried a couple of Tamil films as a supporting actress and even performed extremely well in a film Yuddham Sei, where this noted actress had shaved her head for her lifetime role
Interestingly, the first film that came her way was also by a chance. It was director A. K. Lohithadas, who wanted to use Ramakrishnan's house for shooting his Malayalam film ‘Chakkara Muthu’ (2006). This film gave her first break in a supporting role. Later, she also played Sneha’s mother role in another film and after acting in supporting actress’ role, she stepped behind the camera to direct actors now.

Lovelyn Chandrasekhar is an Indian film actress, popular amongst the audience for his work in the movie House Owner. Mostly known for her predominant involvement in Tamil TV shows and Kollywood movies, she is the daughter of the renowned actress Viji Chandrasekhar. Based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, she was born on 7th June 1998 to Viji and Cape E. Chandrasekhar. After completing her schooling from Vael’s International School, Chennai, she went on to complete her graduation from Middlesex University with B.Sc. honors in Psychology. Aishwarya Rajesh, commonly known as Iyshwarya, is an Indian actress who works in the Tamil film industry. She was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, on 10th of January, 1990. She was born into a family that was famous and had its mark in the film industry for three generations.

Master Kishore is a Tamil film industry actor, who started his career at a very young age as a child artist. He was part of the movie “Pasanga” for which he was awarded a national award and gathered a lot of appreciation.

Jomon T. John lives up to the uniqueness of his name. As a graduate of the Government Film and Television Institute in Bangalore, he started off as a part of advertisement industry. Ghibran is a Music composer in Indian film industry. As one among his experiences, initially, he worked as the composer for ad-films where he was the main composer for more than 800 television commercial jingles covering various languages. After that, he shifted his career towards music composing in Indian Films. From Trinity College London he completed his Grade 8 in Music Theory and Piano. From LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore he obtained the degree in Classical music composition and film scoring under the guidance of Lindsay Vickery from Australia. He has his studio situated at Chennai. Ghibran was born in Coimbatore. He cultivated his interests in music at the age of ten by seeing the performance of Yanni on Television. Initially, he just went to learn Keyboard as a part time from Paul Augustine. After completing the eighth grade there, one of the studios offered him a job to compose for their animations. He got the experience there for two years.

Ashok Selvan is primarily a film actor, who has played major lead roles in Tamil movies like Soodhu Kavvum (2013), Pizza 2 : The Villa and ‘Thegidi’ (2014). A native of Tamil Nadu, Ashok was born on 8 November 1989 in Erode. He graduated in visual communication from Loyola College and gained a lot of movie making experience during his college days. Benny Dayal is an Indian Pop-Singer. Born in Kollam, Kerala, India on May 13, 1984. He was a member of the S5 Pop Band in India. He started as a playback singer and known to have work with various reputable composers.

He finished his studies from Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) and took Journalism in Madras Christian College. He took his chances and decided to quit his job from the BPO Company and started to work as a singer. His songs were widely used different Indian Films since 2007. He received the award “RD Burman Award for New Music Talent” and “Max Stardust Awards for New Musical Sensation” in 2009. He performed stunning and applauded performances in Gima Awards and many more.

Sathya Prakash is a popular south Indian villain actor, who hailed from Odisha. His father was a government staff and Sathya got a place in the government school and he completed his schooling. Sambalpur, Burgad and Burhampur are the places, where Sathya completed his graduation and post graduation. Sathya did his MBA in Kolkata. He was a bank employee for a few years.

Kishore was born in the year 1974 in Karnataka. Basically, he was a theater artist. When he was doing his graduation in National College, he started to act in various theater plays. Tamil director Vetri Maran was searching for a talented Kannada actor, who could speak Tamil well. Kishore caught in his eyes, but the movie was dropped. But, he got a chance in the movie Polladhavan with Dhanush. The movie was a super hit, which gave a good recognition to Kishore. Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Jayamkondaan and Haridas are the super hit movies in which Kishore was praised. Haridas with Sneha is the most appreciated role and Kishore did a lead character. Kishore became the popular and best performer, as a good actor and he got many opportunities and he selected good movies, which had good acting scope. His performance in Arrambam and Thilagar were appreciated well. He has not only performed in lots of Kannada and Tamil movies, but also in Telugu movies. Kishore has proved that art has no language.

Kishore (also known as Kishore Kumar G ) is an actor born in Karnataka. He has basically evolved from the theater. Today, he is known as ‘Veerappan’, for portraying the role of a bandit in 'Vana Yuddham' (Tamil), and 'Attahasa' (Kannada), which was directed by A. M. R. Ramesh. It was a technically brilliant biopic of dacoit, Veerappan, and the critics praised the performance of Kishore as Veerappan in the film. The actor always wanted to become an actor, but missed many chances. Before making his debut in acting, he was a professor in Sharada College in Bengaluru, but opted to quit the job. His first break came in the year 2004 in ‘Kanti’, when he was a part-time fashion designer. He bagged the role of 'Byaadara Beera' in the movie 'Kanti', when he was supposed to design the costumes for the film. But as the lady luck had smiled upon him, the actor got his first acknowledgment as an actor by winning the State Award for his performance in the film. In the year 2004, he again won the State Award for his performance in the movie, 'Rakshasa'.
