The movie Ko 2 raised sufficient interest in the audience since its day one. It does not have anything to do with Ko, and the script, which is intended for the top-notch actors, has ended with actor Bobby Simha The transformation of Bobby Jayasimha of remote K >> Read More... in it (who is a promising star now in Kollywood). Whether or not his performance in the movie and the quality of the movie is good, one has to read the review and know.

Plot:

Bobby Simha is tired to the hilt of the political infrastructure of our country. He takes the Chief Minister Prakash Raj Prakash Raj, born on 26th of March, 1965, as Praka >> Read More... into his custody. He has some out of the way demands to the Chief Minister. There are dialogues between the Chief Minister and the kidnapper Bobby Simha. The movie is about whether the demands could be considered, and whether Bobby Simha is acquitted in the case of kidnapping the Chief Minister.

Star Performances:

Bobby Simha’s performance in the first half is not as impressive as it is after the interlude. However, his dialogue delivery in some places is laudable. Prakash Raj has done his role in a commendable manner. Applause is due for Ilavarasu, who has done the role of Home Minister Home Minister belongs to the game show genre. Zee >> Read More... in the movie. Nikki Galrani is indeed a revelation with her decent performance as a journalist in the movie. Although Nasser makes brief appearance, he leaves an indelible impression in the hearts of the audiences.

Analysis:

One has to be patient enough to catch up on the flavor of the movie. The snail-paced first half makes it difficult for the audiences to stick to their seats. If one has the patience and time enough to watch the movie, the second half is decent enough. The movie’s editor, Kevin could have put the scissors in the first half. The camera work with insufficient lighting on the screen makes the movie dull and drab.

What is There?

The director’s intelligent script makes the movie a laudable effort.

What is not there?

The romance sequences are not very pleasing, and Bobby Simha fails to impress in romance.
The camera work by Philip R Sundar is very bland and does not add up to the movie’s credits.

Verdict:

The movie Ko 2, although tiring in the first half, manages to retain the audiences for its nail-biting sequences in the second half.
