In the wake of finishing his Post Graduation, he studied Archeology and Epigraphy in Chennai and was instrumental in uncovering poet and literature Thirikooda rasappa Kavirayar's palm compositions that gave knowledge into the Kuravanji verse, a form of Tamil poetry.
