Born in Vriddhachalam, Tamil Nadu, Arivumathi is a lyricist and singer in Tamil film Industry. In the wake of finishing his Post Graduation, he studied Archeology and Epigraphy in Chennai and was instrumental in uncovering poet and literature Thirikooda rasappa Kavirayar's palm compositions that gave knowledge into the Kuravanji verse, a form of Tamil poetry. He found the palm compositions in the artist's genealogical home and gave them over to the office. It made the big news. Writer Meera spotted him first and took him to Abdul Rahman, the prestigious Tamil poet from whom he learned the craft of composing Haiku, a small poem. Arivumathi was additionally acquainted with writer Leelavathi who had deciphered Japanese Haiku lyrics in Tamil. Arivumathi entered movies to broaden his compass.

Mano (Real name- Nagoor Babu) is a famous South Indian playback singer. He was not only a great singer but also a voice-over artist, an actor, a producer, a television anchor and a music composer. He was born to Father Rasool (Musician in All India Radio) and Mother Shaheeda (stage actress) on 26th October 1963 in Satterapalli, Guntur district of Andhra Pradesh, he joined the stage theater and had role played as many historical characters. As he had said in an interview “I have always been impressed by my dear mother’s talent and she has always been and will always be my inspiration.”

His beautiful rendition of Roobaroo, which was an A.R.Rahman composition for the movie, Rang De Basanti, won his a lot of accolade. He went on to win the national award for the Best Male Playback.
He then worked on a number of projects including Raanjhaana and Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na and a number of praiseworthy Tamil projects. The former is a story about a boy who fell in love with a girl since his school days whereas the latter is a love story again between two friends who realise that they actually love each other towards the climax of the movie. He has been appreciated for his work with the R.D. Burman award for Best Male Debut which is a very prestigious honour in the country.
He is also the vocalist in Mumbai based fusion band that goes by the name of Dhvani.
