Plot
Karthik and Anjali are childhood friends. Karthik has a friend called Dumbo and wherever he goes, Dumbo accompanies him. Karthik and Anjali are attracted towards each other when they are fourteen. They want to be together, but situation separates them. Later, they meet each other when they become adults. When they meet again, Anjali asks Karthik to marry her but he couldn’t. After five years, they meet again and Anjali invites Karthik for her wedding. What happens next is interestingly told! Watch the film in theaters!
Star Performance
Sumanth has made a good comeback. He has performed well and he attracts the viewers with his minute facial expressions. Aakanksha is nonetheless lesser that Sumanth in performing. Annapoorna has done a good job as the grandma. The young Karthik and Anjali, Sathwik and Preethi had done their part excellently well. They have shown a lot of maturity in their performances and they have a good future.
Analysis
The story travels from 1999 to 2017. Three phases of the love have been shown in Malli Raava. The film is good by its script and performance but has a weak screenplay which slightly creates a lag. However, the simple first love and its pain will remain in the hearts of the viewers. The casting team gets kudos for the excellent selection!

The film gives a good feel and it might induce some memories from the hearts of the ex-lovers. Reality is the biggest plus in the film and it is sure to attract the people, who are living in the memories of their first love.
