Plot

Three friends decide to give it their all to find ‘the perfect date’. However, the journey that they undertake has a simple message: Expect the Unexpected!

Star Performances

The technical, as well as the writing department in this film has done a good job. For all the flaws of this movie, at least writer cum director Raju Rajendra Prasad can thank himself that he did not write a bad story in any way!

Analysis

‘We Love Bad Boys’ is not the comedy that you’re thinking of. The film is family-friendly and decent; in some places, the humor packs a punch. However, as a plot, the film has nothing new to offer.

The template is almost basic, with three bachelors trying to do everything they can for ‘the perfect date’! Now the idea has little scope for innovation. However, in terms of making an engaging romantic comedy, writers Raju Rajendra Prasad and Anand Kodavatiganti can pat their backs for a simple, yet engaging script.

The technical department has also done a commendable job. The camerawork is good, and the editing is also great. Nowhere do you feel uncomfortable or bored by the runtime of this movie.

Simplicity is the biggest strength of this movie. In no way do the makers want to force their narrative on the viewers. The comic elements are natural, and the performances of the actors only lift the narrative by several notches.

There are a few flaws in this movie. But the ones there are not just noticeable, they also reduce the viability of this film. For instance, there are item songs that not only ruin the flow of the movie but are also cringe-worthy in terms of presentation. Also, despite the good narrative, the characters don’t have much depth. So, despite the best efforts, the makers are unable to make the viewers root for either of the characters.

Verdict

‘We Love Bad Boys’ is an entertaining rom-com that is not out of the blue, yet entertaining enough to keep viewers engaged. If only there was more depth in the characters, the script could have made more sense. Yet, the film is good enough for a one-time watch, especially if you have a flair for light-hearted entertainment.
