Anil V Nagendran

Anil V. Nagendran is an Indian film artist who is a famous director, Producer, and Writer who worked primarily in Malayalam movie Industry. He was born on May 25, 1964, in Vilakath, Cheryazheekal, Karunagappally, Kollam district. He graduated in Zoology from D.B. College, Sasthamcottah, and Law from Kerala Law Academy Law College, Trivandrum. He is the grandson of great leader Dr.V.V.Velukutty Arayan, and he was born to an advocate, V.V Nagendran and K.Savithri. He is also known to be worked as a general council member of Kerala Chalachitra Academy, under the government of Kerala, which is famous for the International Film Festival of Kerala. Anil made his debut in movies with Vasanthathinte Kanal Vazhika in 2014. This movie is based on fiction, showing the history of pre-independent Kerala and its struggles. He worked as a writer, director, and lyricist for this movie. This movie got the Kerala Film Critics Association Award and the Kerala film critics Association special jury Award. Anil V. Nagendran was the director, screenwriter, and co-producer for the movie THEE, released in 2022. Anil also worked as a lyricist for this movie.
