Malayalam Director Murali Nagavally

Born in 1955, Murali Nagavally was an Indian Film Director and Script Writer prominently known for his artwork in the Malayalam and Hindi Film Industries or Mollywood and Bollywood. He resided in Ramankari near Alappuzha, Kerala, with his daughter, Parvathy and son, Gopikrishnan. Murali was the cousin of Actor Venu Nagavally. He initially worked as an assistant director for the Romantic Action-Drama film Kabhi Na Kabhi which was released on 17th April 1998 and directed by Priyadarshan. He was the Associate Director for films such as Kakkakuyil, Megham, Kalapaani, Midhunam, Eyi Auto, Lal Salaam, Sarvakalashala, etc.

He debuted as a director with the Malayalam Action Thriller, Wanted, which was released on July 15th 2004. In 2010, He debuted as a director in the Hindi Film Industry with the Comedy film Fauj Mein Mauj. In the same year, he directed the Malayalam Action Drama film Alexander The Great, which was released on 7th May 2010. He sadly passed away at his residence on 9th June 2014.
